BACKGROUND
- Apprenticed during college for furniture designer Peter Danko whose works are in various museums including the Museum of Modern Art, NYC.
- Spent a gap year as an apprentice for furniture designer and artisan Thomas Fannon. Contributed to fabrication of works published in Fine Woodworking Magazine.
PHILOSOPHY
Spent early professional career and throughout college for a hands-on tactile education on details, there design, fabrication, and craftsmanship on an intimate scale. Worked as a Carpenter and contractor to gain real world experience on construction techniques and how projects are built in the field. Having a furniture fabrication and design background combined with a wide range of construction experience allows an assurance my designs are able to be fabricated and built as designed and envisioned.
